Dave Acton is currently the CFO at ISI Enterprises, a private equity backed security company that works in both the federal and commercial sectors. Prior to ISI, Dave served as the CFO at Suntiva. David’s past experience as CFO to several small companies and the many lessons learned on how to transform a company from small to large proved to be instrumental in the transformation of Suntiva. He not just participated, but led the entire process of building a winning five-year rolling strategy which is what eventually led to transforming what was originally a portfolio of 90% small and set-aside business to 100% full and open revenue over a period of five years. David not only supervised the business development activities crucial for achieving that level of growth, but he also oversaw all other activities that had to move in parallel to lead to this significant transformation. David led the effort of evolving all aspects of the company’s internal processes and infrastructure to ensure they all move in the same direction in support of the transition (e.g., F&A compliance, Contracts, Hiring and retaining next-level talent, Bids & Proposals, and Marketing). David measured and reported progress regularly to the CEO, Executive Team and the Board. Dave was one of the key executives that help execute the strategic sale of Suntiva to LMI.
